So this was a neat session for me. I knew Delia & Beck’s mom from high school, but as things go, we fell out of touch.
We met up briefly at our high-school reunion last fall and it was as if we were in a timewarp. You know how some people have a character that is just solid and reliable. Well that’s her. We both took German in high-school. (What kind of teenage girl takes German?! It’s so harsh and unromantic!) It takes a thick skin, and most of our class had a certain humility about it. The upside is that we got to travel to Germany for a month through the school. And *that* made all the guttural Rs and hard Ws worth it.
Meeting her family at our photo session was a delight. I have the feeling Delia will follow in her mother’s confident footsteps. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Neat footnote: Beck is named after all four of his grandparents. Each letter in his name is a first initial.

Such kind words, Heidi. Thank you for making our session a breeze (even though there wasn’t one that sticky day). Our getting kicked out was the talk at the park when I ran into your recent customers (our neighbor).
