Wonderful to see this family again and to meet their latest addition!
This session was held “between” the epic thunderstorms that rolled through Chicago last week. We talked by phone and watched the radar somewhat obsessively in order to get the timing right.
The indoor shots of baby John were taken as one storm rolled out, then we ran outside for 20 minutes before the next storm opened up so that Tommy could do his stuff. Ideal terrain for a two-year-old boy? Mud, sticks and puddles.
