Beautiful Josee is expecting twins soon. Can’t wait to meet them in a few weeks…. Yay! And I love that she asked her mother to join her in some of the portraits. We do not cherish our mothers enough!

Last weekend I met this lovely couple who have been married for, wait for it, 50 years. We did many formal portraits with extended family and during a quiet moment I asked the patriarch, “What is the secret to a long marriage?” “Patience.”, he answered. “And compromise.” Thank you for a delightful afternoon.

A fresh new baby for a fresh new year! This session was held on New Year’s Eve with one of my favorite regular families. As always, it is an honor to photograph a baby so young and perfect. I loved the chance to start/end the year with something fittingly symbolic of hope and aspiration.
