Guests are invited to venture beyond the typical cheesy, soft-focus portrait experience. This weekend, with the help of my lovely assistant, Des, we raised the roof with a funtastic Photobooth (aka. a Crazybooth) at the Alexian Brothers Ball. It was a sold-out black tie fundraising event to benefit the Alexian Brothers Foundation. Held at the Brookfield Zoo in a magnificent tent, guests even had the chance to have cocktails with the animals in Tropic World!

We brought our own zoo-related props to get the creative juices going…

I hosted a super fun funky groove booth to document the night and help out with the charity. The theme of the evening was the 70s — and there were some *superb* costumes.

Below is a sneak preview of a few of my faves, though every shot is so ridiculously hilarious that I am having trouble working on this batch of photos without laughing!
