Love this family. Love, love, love them.

We did a session with extended family – something I used to shy away from, thinking it wasn’t “artsy” enough. I feel differently about that now, loving the opportunity to capture little ones with their whole families.

Cecilia and Benjamin are regulars in front of my camera but little Benjamin was just not himself that day. We went with the flow and played over in the park for a while. Cecilia, on the other hand, didn’t need much prompting to bring out her inner supermodel…

Ok, so between end of the school year activities, a traveling husband, beginning of house renovation, full shooting lineup and three over-scheduled children, I have somehow managed to fall behind on blogging recent sessions. How could that have happened?

Here’s a slideshow album of one-year-old Nate on Chicago’s lakefront. Aren’t one-year-olds so great? They just live in wonder. It was such a pleasure to play with this family for the morning…!
